New clippedin.bike features shop, ‘My List,’ geolocation

Clipped In launched into the new year with an improved version of its website with automatic geolocation, a “My List” function for users to create custom race and event calendars and store featuring select cycling products.

The site also sports a new design and more obvious menus for posting events, group rides, bike shop, team and coach listings.

“It’s a milestone for Clipped In as we continue to grow and something we’ve been working on for a long time,” publisher Sarah Muench said. “As always, our goal is to grow the sport of cycling by making it easier for riders to find events, races, news and more all in one location. We’ve enhanced that with new features geared toward our users.”

New Clipped In features include:

  • Geolocation: No matter where you are in the United States, upcoming events and news listed on the homepage will be those closest to you. The viewer can change this by typing in a different city or selecting a mile-radius.
  • My List: Viewers on the site can create their own race calendar or event list. If a user sees an event they are interested in, they can click on a plus sign to add an event to their own personal list to come back to later, similar to Netflix’s My List function.
  • Store: Clipped In is now selling local cycling-related products in its online store. Find products like RBar, Bikelangelo, Petal Power and more.
