2018 ADIRONDACK 540
The next edition of the ADIRONDACK 540 will be held September 14th-16th, 2018.
Race Headquarters will be at the ALPINE COUNTRY INN & SUITES, located at 5647 Route 86 in Wilmington. Their phone numbers are: 518.946.2263 / 877.946.2263. All races start from there, and all race activities, including registration and meetings, will be held there or in the immediate vicinity.

The centerpiece of the weekend will be our beautiful and challenging 136-mile course. Rolling hills, long climbs, thrilling descents and breath-taking views are a staple of this course.
Riders start in Wilmington, located 12 miles north of Lake Placid at the base of Whiteface Mountain and right in the heart of the Adirondacks. After a hilly jaunt to Lake Placid, riders keep climbing until the breath-taking descent into Keene. Then it’s a 4-mile climb out of the valley and southeast to Ticonderoga.
After passing through the second checkpoint in Ticonderoga, riders will travel north along Lake Champlain to Wesport, turn west through Elizabethtown and head back to Wilmington over the legendary Hurricane Mountain and through the heart High Peaks region.
Drafting is allowed in all races and all events (except the team competitions) and are part of the ADIRONDACK ULTRA CUP.
Personal support crews are highly recommended, but not mandatory.OTHER NOTES
All riders must register, have their bikes and support vehicles inspected, pick up their race packet and attend a pre-race meeting. Riders entered in a race that begins on Friday must attend session # 1 on Thursday evening. Riders entered in a race that begins on Saturday may attend either session.
Please note that meeting times are subject to change, and that same day registration is not available for races that begin on Friday. Riders wishing to register onsite for a Friday race must do so at session # 1. Session # 1 also includes a pasta dinner or BBQ, which is free to all riders, crews, friends and family.
Also note that pets are not allowed at this event in any capacity. That includes at the cehckpoints, at race headquarters, on the route, in a car or on a leash. Any rider, family, friend, support crew member, volunteer or anyone else associated with this event that arrives with a pet will be asked to leave immediately and their associated rider will be served a three hour penalty.~ FAILURE TO ATTEND A PRE-RACE MEETING MAY RESULT IN A THREE HOUR PENALTY ~

All events count toward the ADIRONDACK ULTRA CUP.All events are held rain or shine and entry fees are non refundable and non transferable.Riders may change events up to race start time. No refunds or credits will be given if you change to a shorter event.Onsite registration for all events will be available at the pre-race meeting on Thursday.Same day registration will be available for events starting on Saturday begining at 7:00 AM.
